Our water jet is capable of slicing into metal or other materials (such as granite) using just water and an abrasive. It works on a variety of materials thick or thin, and is a great alternative to laser or plasma cutting, especially when the materials being cut are sensitive to high temperatures, as the water jet won't warp the material being cut.
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics. Laser optics and CNC are used to direct the material or the laser beam. The focused laser beam directed at the material, which then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish.
